Greenroom Robotics creates autonomous systems for Australian Royal Navy ships built by Austal. Its objective is to give Austral the capability to turn current ships into completely autonomous vessels “in as little as five days”, which rival systems could take “weeks or months.” Two technologies from Greenroom, known as GAMA and Lookout+, use vision-based AI that collect information from the boat’s electro-optical sensors and cameras, supported by the GPS systems operating in space. They interface with Austal’s system, Marinelink Prime, which manages the ship’s mechanical systems. Greenroom also established a US office and has aspirations to expand internationally
